Discover More

Bodywork is a transformative therapeutic practice designed to address long held patterns of stress, injury and posture. Most bodywork uses hands on manipulation of the body’s fascia or connective tissue. It is often accompanied by complimentary elements of
-- Movement education
-- Ergonomics and environmental design
-- Exercise for fitness consultation
Some common forms of effective bodywork are Aston-Patterning®, Hellerwork, Myofascial Release, Postural Integration, and Rolfing.

Fascia: is the ubiquitous fibrous tissue that envelops the body in sheets beneath the skin. Fascia encloses muscles and groups of muscles, and separates their several layers or groups. Fascia literally gives our body its shape.

Ergonomics: is an applied science concerned with designing and arranging things people use so that the people and things interact most efficiently and safely -- called also human engineering
